DEATH AND DYING SERVICES:
FEES: Initial consultation (approximately 60 minutes) is $120.00 and is available in-person or by phone locally only. Fees for all sessions after that will be discussed and agreed upon based upon need.
I never set out purposely planning to begin working with dying, death and grief but sometimes things come our way that lead us in meaningful directions we never imagined. I began working with dying animals before I began working with dying people. A very long time ago, I began to find myself mysteriously in the right places at the right times where animals were dying and I realized that even if I could not heal or save them, I could still help them by offering them comfort, peace and love. As I got further into the field of intuition, spirituality, energetic healing and holistic wellness, I started to apply those skills to those old familiar circumstances I would find myself in and it proved extremely helpful to both those who were dying and the loved ones who were supporting them in their experiences.
Eventually, my lovely teacher, mentor and friend (she published this beautiful article on her experience with dying shortly before her own death and you can read it here: https://ca.style.yahoo.com/open-letter-i-used-to-volunteer-in-a-hospice-and-195721879.html ) encouraged me to add hospice work to my love of volunteering and she was right - I love doing it!
While working with dying and death does indeed require special consideration, energetic and holistic modalities along with spiritual, metaphysical and intuitive work are well suited to supporting and helping to bring physical, mental, emotional and even spiritual comfort to those who are approaching their deaths and to those experiencing the grief accompanying it. It allows for a heart, spirit and nature-centered opportunity to do something when it sometimes can feel like nothing can be done.
