My draw to occult and unusual topics began as a love of all things “supernatural” as a child and eventually led me into spirituality, metaphysics, the paranormal and far beyond. We grew up having all manner of experiences from ghosts and spirit visits to multiple UFO (or UAP if you prefer to stay current) sightings to experiencing things many people may not even want to believe. Still waiting to encounter a sasquatch but some day I shall. We experienced so much and I loved every bit of it, if I am honest! My mother only enjoyed our discussing it in the daylight hours back then but today is a different story totally! As a teenager, I loved this topic so much I really wanted to become a Parapsychologist but was pretty much told by the world it was not a “real” job and back then I still (erroneously) believed that I was not one of those lucky people born with any “special psychic ability” (which is funny considering how many psychic and metaphysical experiences I had had by then) and so I moved on and tried to think of better careers for myself. I found none better but if I ever retire from this all, Vegan Chocolatier and Candy Maker ARE still in the running!
Around 2000, I was really beginning to find myself spiritually and a lot of things were happening for me all at once in that area. I started to believe I had potential in this field and became more confident in myself as a person and as someone who could do valuable work in this area. Shortly after I founded a paranormal research group called “Para-Search” that never had any members other than me and my equipment back then was a mini-cassette recorder, a film camera, a Polaroid camera and a laser thermometer. I did investigate quite a few places even back then and it served as a solid foundation but it was a lot different than how I work today.
Nowadays, while I still like digital technology for the resources it has brought to the paranormal field, I choose to work more intuitively at this point. As the years went on, I realized that while “proving” the paranormal existed was certainly valuable, what was far more important was helping those dealing with it and that is where my focus remains today. I work with people who themselves are “haunted” or who live in spaces and places that appear to be. I work with those experiencing paranormal and spiritual issues to become empowered and have the knowledge to successfully and confidently handle the situations and help them deal with what is happening. I help clear spaces (and sometimes people too) of energies, spirits, beings and entities who don’t belong there when it’s possible, help mediate the scenario when I cannot clear it and I help bring peace to as many of the spiritual beings I encounter who wish it as well. It can be a scary thing to go through and for me, helping those involved (Earthly and otherwise) is something I can do to help! Funny how I ended up working with what I always longed to after all!
